The presented work showcases a Pop Art justaposition of the joyous celebrations of the Triumphant Entry of Christ and His rejection and crucifixion by the people by the end of week. The art piece was inspired by the advertisement spaces in the Parisian metro.

What would it look like if Christ were to be crucified today? This art piece is an attempt to represent that moment. We have the Sunday newspaper that is still reminiscent of Christ, "THE PEOPLE'S GENERAL" on the front cover, as would any noble figure be remembered, few hopeful of His resurrection But there is a cutout, with the last pages of Death and Announcement having been torn out. This is what The Churches respond would have been at the news of His resurrection, all that spoke of his finality is reaped out, as He is no longer to be found amongst the dead, but is rissen.

The name of the art piece draws from the question asked by Ceaser to the Jews during Christ’s trial. The term pacifist is how the Jews thought of Christ, since He did not topple the Roman rule, and the insurrectionist draws from who Jesus Barabbas was, but in this art piece, they are both Jesus Christ. The art piece speaks of our human tendancy to pick and choose which version of Jesus best fits our convenience.
